Short wooded walk along the Southern Upland Way. This straight path is fenced and follows the adjacent railway line for around half a mile until its end just before the railway bridge.
Part of the Loch Ryan Coastal path. Park car down small lane off A77 and head north towards Cairnryan. Trail follows stoney beach following the path of the old railway line and wagon yard.
Delightful woodland dog walk, ideal for doggie sniffing and scampering. The paths are easy on the feet and there's a pleasant sense of calm.
