A chance to walk along part of the oldest road in Britain or take the pooch for a gentle stroll along the river. A very welcome break from the motorway indeed.
A walk that starts right in the Services, but with its start point well hidden from thousands of desperate dogs.
This is such is a useful stop, especially if you have children on board too as there is plenty to occupy youngsters as well as dogs. And the cafe is a gem.
Handily placed for a stop with the dog just west of Andover. You'll find a good off-lead dog walk here and dog-friendly accommodation too.

This is an orderly and well maintained country park, with hard surface paths creating accessibility routes – and all weather dog walking in clean footwear a definite possibility.
