Woodland dog walk above Weston, Somerset
A fabulous wood for a dog walk, with several interesting historic moments to look out for too. Very safe for dogs and kids, and easily walkable from the town if you're staying nearby.

Interesting place for a dog walk across an area used by the Romans as a military cemetery.

A friendly dog walking spot with a popular cafe and an easy-going path in shady woodland.
Fully accessible cafe and small park in the centre of a small village with strong links to the Pendle witches. Longer dog walks are also possible, and there are two dog-friendly pubs as well.

A wonderful woodland walkies for dogs, and with lots of different paths to explore.
