A slightly odd mix of old lime kilns and a modern power station here. But dogs will adore the space at low tide and the parking is easy. It's really close to the A1 and easy to find.
A large car park gives you direct access onto a former railway lane, now re-purposed as a multi-user path. It's shared by cyclists and horse-riders in an amicable way.
Lovely country pub with a good reputation for great local food. It's in a big bend of the A39 so not too far out of your way for a driving break.
An easy-access dog walk on a former rail line where ponies would have helped to pull heavy loads up the hill.
An easy, occasionally bracing, walk to a lighthouse reached over a tidal causeway. It's a popular tourist attraction, as are the seals who live here.
The most dog friendly pub we've ever visited. Fantastic food and you will find at least one dog under most tables. Treats and water bowls available.
Multiple footpath routes to choose from off Main Street, heading through village. Farm lanes and footpaths, some livestock/horses may be in fields. Circular walks of all lengths. Dog friendly pub.
A warm local pub with great character, a large garden and a friendly atmosphere. And how about that doggie smile!
This dog friendly Beach goes on for miles. We did 8 miles. Up the beach and back down the woods. Fabulous trip out.
Dog-friendly dining close to Denbigh, and also close to the Offa's Dyke path. The pub has been restored and improved by the current owners and is well worth seeking out.
Dining pub with very enjoyable food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Lovely walk for the dogs too.
