A long sandy beach. A notice by the car park requests that dogs are kept on a lead because of sheep grazing on the land nearby.
Former farmland which is now a good park for dog walks. Lots of lakes, ponds and woods to wander around in wide, flat, open spaces and an excellent network of paths.

Ths is a lovely very small fully enclosed park where you can let your dogs off to chase squirrels and run amongst the pines. open from dawn to dusk except Saturdays where it is after 8am.
Dogs are welcome on all of the beach in winter, and for the central beach area there are designated dog areas between May 1st and September 30th. These are signed and easy to find.
A country park is 100 acres of reclaimed land, with waterside and grassy walks and lots of doggy dashing space. The paths within the park are hard-surfaced and accessible.
