Whistle Way: Old Railway Track & Fields dog walk, wander for miles, Leicestershire
LE19 3WY
Description
Hidden within a housing estate in Narborough, is a pub called the Copt Oak, and a Tesco Express. But the real hidden gems are the dog walking possibilities that are accessed off Copt Oak Road (more of a track, really). Drive part way down to the railway bridge. Unload the dogs, go up the steps and you're away.

Full Walk Details
Once up the steps, you are faced with the disused railway track which stretches for miles in either direction. Not only can your dogs run happily along the flat tarmac path, you can head off into the fields where the river meanders through. I've added an image of the area, the yellow line shows parking possibilities, the green shows the walk. If accessibility is a problem, drive into the estate as this is at the same level as the railway track, thereby avoiding the steps.
