Full Walk Details
We were travelling back south and were a bit pressed for time so couldn't really utilise any of the normal Driving with Dogs walks so decided to stop at a service area for a coffee and a sandwich.
Couldn't use Michaelwood as it was raining so opted for Gordano as the next one south. For those of you who know the place there is a bank around two sides of the car park which most dog walkers ascend to stretch the furry legs a little.
However if you stand with your back to the services (my favourite way to view them) and look at the bank you will see that the left hand side - where the cars are entering the parking area - is much lower. Walk into there and there is a sign about a Permissive Footpath. Said footpath goes along the edge of the trees and there is also a path across the field. It's not a big walk but it's infinitely better than the bank.
