GPS coords for car park: 58.5686, -3.7941 What3Words: ///column.berated.shopping  On the NC500. Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round, If there is no parking space drive a bit further along and park in the larger carpark at Fresgoe Harbour (free).   Occasionally radioactive particles are found on the beach from Dounreay, but the beach is scanned regularly and particles removed.

Full Walk Details

Park by the toilets ( open summer only) and you are right next to the beach. If you want a longer walk you can go to the far end and follow the river up, go through the golf course and back along the road.
