Description

Huge sandy beach on Teifi Estuary near Cardigan. Open to dogs all year with just one small area where dogs are not welcome.  Added by tknorn:   Huge beach near Cardigan. It is THE beach to go to if you're a dog in the area. Usually more dogs than people. Lots of sea to romp in and some small sticks to fetch.

GPS coords for car park: 52.1041, -4.6990 What3Words: ///distorts.familiar.magazine  Large car park, and an extra field for overspill in the summer. P&D. Cafe with good cakes, and they sell doggie ice-cream. New owners in 2024 have tried to move the cafe a bit upmarket. WCs by the lifeboat station. Freshwater hosepipe by the WCs to wash feet and dogs.

You could spend hours tiring the dog out at this marvellous beach. There are also paths up into the hills and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path too.
