Description
Located in the west of Central Nottinghamshire, Annesley Pit Top is one of the few pit tops that has escaped the generic 'restoration process. The ponds themselves are former settling ponds of the pit and nature have well and truly taken over. One pond is fenced off and not accessible for dogs however the others are fine.
Details
Many bins along the way and also benches. There are signs indicated where nesting birds may be for dogs to be under control. There is also an enclosed field across the road from the car park which is dog accessible.
Full Walk Details
Pop Tilford Road into google maps or whatever navigation system you use (ng16 0bu). Cross the train track and the car park is on the left. There is a car park further up the road as well which is also visitor accessible. You just drive through the gate and drive up until you see a notice board and the carpark is on the right. There are many trails throughout the park (pics attached) and for the most part are gravelly trail paths. Some a few smaller and maybe unused thank others. Its generally a big loop. There are birds such as geese, swans and ducks.
