Description

An on-lead walk with the dog in a very unusual nature reserve.  Fully accessible paths and mobility bike centre for hiring modified bikes and kids' bikes too.

GPS coords for car park: 54.8743, -3.0842 Cafe and dogs welcome inside. Bike hire centre. Bird hides with handy ID posters.

Full Walk Details

There are several marked trails here. We did the Perimeter Trail and added in both the woodlands too. The paths are good even after heavy rain and kind to your shoes. Just as well as we'd run out of dry footwear after a week of vigorous Cumbrian rain. Dogs do have to be on lead (it is a nature reserve) so we added extra treats to create small sniffaris for the dogs, and did some training on the way around too.
