GPS coords for car park: 58.6156, -3.3455 What3Words: ///canine.shuttled.automate  On the NC500. Dogs allowed all year. There are two car parks, one small one about half way along and a larger one at the eastern end. Very popular with surfers

Full Walk Details

From the large eastern carpark which has toilets you are almost on the beach.   From the smaller one: go through the gate and over the sand dunes, requires a bit of a narrow sandy walk past the river to the beach. Across the road from this car park is a field of machair, with lots of native wildflowers.
