Full Walk Details
Grassington lies on the Dalesway path, and if you're thinking about attempting a week's walk with the dog it's a good trail to start with.
From the main car park, turn right at the exit on Hebden Road and then take the first right turn, Sedber Lane. Pass a dog bin and continue on the pavement/footpath. This brings you to the River Wharfe. Turn right (a detour to the Falls first is nice) and walk with the river to your left. When you meet the road (B6265), cross over with care and immediately bear right. This quieter pedestrian route will bring you up into the town on Wharfe Lane, then you cross onto Moody Sty Lane, and finally Garrs End Lane and into the main square.
