Description

Cudworth Common has been reclaimed from former colliery workings, to become a local dog walkers' favourite.  There's a small lake, and paths through the rapidly growing woodland.  It's very close to Grimethorpe, whose famous colliery band is now almost the only trace of the coal mining legacy in the area.
