An area of SSI, chalk downland known for its Bee Orchids. Minutes from the A27 Brighton/Lewes. Public Car Parking available. Well worth the visit, very dog friendly, stunning views.

Although not strictly disabled access some of the grounds walks are well maintained and can be used by wheelchair users.

National Park walks mapped out. You can stop for a short toilet break using the park or the large field adjacent to Bexhill Road or make a day of it and follow the numerous bridle and footpaths that take you around Castle Hill, to the sea at Rottingdean, villages to the east like Firle. Stunning countryside to enjoy as far as the eye can see. This area does have a lot of sheep but there are areas following arable fields that you can follow. You can also join the South Downs Way that will take you to Eastbourne.
