 There's space here to exercise your imagination as well as the dog - and it's free.  Completely overshadowed by the impressive Conwy Castle just across the river, Deganwy Castle is something totally different.  There are two rocky mounds of what was once a volcano, and way back in the early history of Gwynedd a tribal chief had the bright idea of building a stronghold on the larger one.
