Need somewhere to stretch your legs on a long journey?
The Motorway Walks for drivers and dogs are tried and tested short walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits. As well as essential doggie info, you get up to date traffic directions, a dog-friendly pub, cafe or picnic spot on the walk, whether the paths are good for wheelchairs and buggies, and kids’ activities as well.
Travelling dogs will find all their home comforts on Driving with Dogs. From cottages, hotels and campsites where dogs are welcome, to dog washers and groomers who come to you. And there are lots of country pubs too, many with dog biscuits and treats at the bar for good dogs!

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits. Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.
Driving with Dogs is working with the Border Collie Trust GB to bring you the Motorway Walks book at £9.99 (plus p&p). Every book sold will include a donation to the work of the Trust. Jem, the collie who has tested all the motorway walks, is a Border Collie Trust rescue and we're delighted that donations from the book he inspired will go back to helping the Trust with their work.
